What is the cure for brain stem clot?

my mother has been in a stroke for pass 1 wk now. shes in the icu and been given heparin and aspirin. I was just wondering what are other available medications or treatment for such hey clot? they were first suggesting an intravascular something procedure which lets a small tube in the artery. something like that. but they soon dismissed the procedure for they said the clots are under the brain stem.or was i just so skeptical of their agenda, someone said she heard our doctor scolded the nurse saying you should blah blah blah"if it wasnt for me the patient would not b admitted here" which implies its only a matter of money.now im skeptical that there are other possible and effective procedures but they are avoiding it because they know they could earn much more if they have my mother admitted in the icu rather than having her treated the right way but shorter time.what are the other possible and accepted procedure for such clotting they also they told us they could not do anything anymore about the clot. the doctor said they can only control the clot so not to increase or do more but the clot could never be taken away? is this true? or is it acceptable for them to say such thing? i read about the penumbra and the opium with the armica montana are they clinically accepted? iss warfarin more potent than aspirin? pls need badly
