My friend cuts PLEASE HELP!!!!!?

Well if u feel your friend is in serious danger then u should tell someone who might could help her like someone she confides in that doesn't cut or maybe a crisis line. I had a friend who cut also but she wasn't suicidal, it was her way of releasing her "pain" as she put it. She has passed away now but not from suicide but there really wasn't anything I could do 2 help her. Cutting is as natural 2 people like herself as crying when really sad is 2 others. It's a compulsion. I doubt very seriously that she is actually suicidal though. Even if she is clinically depressed. As long as she is hanging around another cutter though she will continue 2 do it that much more. I would find someone u can talk 2 about it that wouldn't automatically jump 2 conclusions. If she is a minor then I would inform an adult about it like maybe her parents. If u are afraid that she might actually be wanting 2 kill herself then u really should tell someone because even if she gets mad, u could save her life n that will make u a true friend 2 her, once she gets help 4 her depression then she will realize that u were only trying 2 help her n maybe will want 2 mend the friendship. I wish u all the best of luck with helping her. I know what its like 2 try n help a friend who is a cutter.
